Case Study 4 - Northampton Mental Health Centre

CJ Haughey Construction were awarded the contract to deliver the £3.2m Groundworks and Stabilisation package by Balfour Beatty at Northampton Mental Health Centre. Through the use of innovation and Value Engineering, we provided a cost effective solution using Stabilisation techniques which in turn also generated Environmental benefits to the scheme.

Balfour Beatty Construction Ltd were contracted to deliver the 135 bedroom Mental Health Facility in Northampton for their client "Investors in the Community" at a value of £36m on a PFI contract. The scheme involves a complex groundworks scheme which features various levels of landscaping to the courtyards and external spaces.
