CJ Haughey take delivery of Wirtgen WR2500SK

As a further development in CJ Haughey’s Stabilisation capabilities, a brand new Wirtgen WR2500SK Integrated Soil Stabilisation Recycler has just been delivered.  This state of the art acquisition is complimented by a Struemaster Speader to complete the package.

Eddie Ronald, Director of Ground Stabilisation explains “By producing a lime or cement bound material (CBM)  for the purpose of engineered fill, capping or sub-base replacement using recycled materials, the Wirtgen provides a cost saving solution to our client.  This also avoids the need to import primary materials, reducing carbon footprint and encouraging sustainability.”

The integrated machine spreads the binders the full working width directly in front on the mixing rotor under an enclosed hood. This eliminates the problem of dust cloud, allowing for safe and convenient works to be undertaken in built up areas.  With the addition of the spreader, this will allow CJ Haughey Construction to undertake bulk stabilisation projects on a national basis.

The Wirtgen will be put through its paces producing a cement bound material next week at the JCB Academy, Rocester.
