Leading contractor, CJ Haughey Construction has today taken the keys to a fleet of new vans.
Following continued growth, which has seen the company secure a number of high profile projects, CJ Haughey required several new vehicles. At the same time, a number of existing vehicles were updated in line with the company’s policy of keeping a reliable and well maintained fleet of vehicles and plant.
Eleven new vans – 10 standard Ford Transits and a high roofed, long wheel base Transit – were purchased from Allen Ford in Coventry, CJ Haughey’s local dealership, at a cost of £150,000.
“The new vehicles reflect the continued growth of CJ Haughey Construction, where our increasing order book meant we required additional vehicles,” commented Jason Stirling, CJ Haughey’s Plant Manager. “We pride ourselves on delivering a first class fleet of vehicles to ensure optimum performance at all times. Investment in vehicles and plant is therefore a company priority.”
As a considerate contractor, CJ Haughey, where possible, sources from local companies. This latest purchase follows a recent addition of six dumpers bought from Coventry based plant manufacturer Terex as part of a £1.5m investment in new plant over 12 months.
