CJ Haughey Construction awarded NCE Emerging Contractor 2009 Award

CJ Haughey Construction has been announced as Emerging Contractor of the Year at this year’s NCE/CECA Contractor of the Year Awards.

The awards are generated and promoted by NCE (New Civil Engineer) magazine and CECA (Civil Engineering Contractors Association).

Established for 10 years, CJ Haughey Construction has built a reputation second to none, based on the principles of hard work, dedication and excellent customer service.  The award highlighted the company’s phenomenal 40% growth over the past 12 months which has seen the company expand geographically to provide a nationwide service.  The company’s commitment to training and approach to recruitment were also noted as a strategy to create a company infrastructure that will see it take advantage of a future upturn.

“We are delighted to have received this award,” commented CJ Haughey Construction’s Managing Director, Chris Haughey. “To be regarded as ‘the one to watch’ is a tremendous accolade and testimony to the continued commitment of everyone in the company. I am equally delighted that our peers have recognised that hard work, dedication and excellent customer service are attributes that are essential in a growing construction business.
